Weekend Carnival

Hello Members,

This is a reminder about the carnival this Labor Day weekend, Sunday the 31st, at the Huntley Hills Swim and Tennis Club.  The forecast is calling for a hot day, so why not spend it with us and have a good time?!? 

Don't miss out on this fun filled day of carnival games, activities and much, much more!  The fun will begin at 11AM and end at 4PM.  We will have exciting activities for all ages including can toss, hula hoop contest, corn hole, ping pong, watermelon football, and even the ALS ice bucket challenge.  There will also be a bounce house, provided by one of our sponsors Jump and Slide. 

We are also asking for baked goods for the concession stand and volunteers to work the event.  Simply reply to this email if you would like to donates goods or your services.

This event will be open to non-members so feel free to invite your friends.  Non-member families will be charged $20 at entry and couples will be $10.  These fees include all activities except for food.  As always, members are not charged an entry fee and guests of members will be $10 per person.

Saturday, Aug 23rd - Adult Only party! 

There will be swimming, ping pong tournaments, corn hole games, and other fun stuff happening. Bring an appetizer to share, if you wish, and your own drinks (no glass containers). The party is free and open to all non-members 21 and over - bring your friends!

We'll get things started around 7pm - member kids leave at 9pm (normal closing time) and we'll stay open for adults only until 11pm.

AWESOME Back to School Hours

Hi Members,

Just a reminder that we are open all day with guarded hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays through the remainder of August.  Hours are 10:30 AM until 8:00 PM.  This started last year but it rained the entire season and we think no one was able to enjoy it.  We want to see how many of you take advantage of these rare, private, well deserved hours that are being offered.

If you remember to do so, please take the time to send us an email informing us of your pool usage during these hours.  Enjoy the serenity!

And, BTW, we are open 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday and Wednesday, 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM Friday, 10:30 AM until 9:00 PM Saturday, and 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM on Sunday.

DIP-OFF Party Sunday, Aug 17th

Coming join us for our 4th Annual HHSTC DIP-OFF party on Sunday, August 17th at 5:00 pm. 

Everyone has a chance of winning! Here are the prize categories:

The party starts at 5 pm and judging starts at 6:00 pm. If your dip requires warming, we have 1 microwave, 1 toaster oven and outlets for crock pots.

The club will provide tortilla chips and pita bread triangles. If you want something fancier for your dip - feel free to bring whatever dipper you desire. Water and soft drinks will be served. Please bring your own alcohol (but reminder, no glass on the pool deck).

This year the party is open to all members and member children, plus any non-members over 18. Invite all your friends!

So we can better plan, we do ask that you pre-register to enter your dip - by simply adding your name to the online spreadsheet: click here.

The cost of the party is only $5/person (including children) - and if you bring a dip, you get TWO FREE tickets.

Fri Taco Night, Sat Night Fever Party, Sun Bingo

Hi Members,

DeKalb County schools start Monday and we are going to make the most of this weekend at the pool. 

Friday Night - Taco Night! 

We'll have a full taco bar setup from one of our great sponsors, Tin Roof Cantina.

Dinner will be served starting at 6:00 pm until we run out of food. 

$5/plate and $1 for non-alcoholic drinks. 

Please bring your own alcohol and remember, no glass containers :)

Saturday Night Fever Party! 

Party starts at 5ish. We have some fun games planned, in addition to ping pong and foosball. Please bring a pot luck dish to share. We'll also have the big grill setup for anyone who wants to bring meat or veggies to grill. 

Sunday 50+ Bingo Social 2pm

This event is open to all members and non-members 50 or over. Entry is free; Bingo cards are only $0.50. Snacks will be served and prizes will be awarded. Invite your friends and neighbors. Should be lots of fun!

Tin Roof Cantina

This friendly neighborhood bar & grill is located at the intersection of Briarcliff Road and North Druid Hills Road near the Targetshopping center. They’ve got tons of well-lit free parking, three great outdoor seating areas, cheap drinks and great food! They have lots of TVS games and live music. They are open late 7 days a week and are a fun place to hang out.  A neighborhood restaurant/bar with a southwestern flair and live music every night. Hi Members,
