We hope you can make it this Friday (22nd) to our opening night cookout (4:00 pm to 10:00 pm). And this Friday only, the cookout is FREE to Board members, work day volunteers, sponsors AND new members! The cost is $3 a plate for all others (includes a drink, chips and hotdog or hamburger).
Pool tags will be available for pick up at the pool Friday night or Saturday. If we don't see you, they will then be delivered to your mailbox.

And remember, the new hours are 10:30 am to 8 pm (and 10 pm on Fridays) everyday, all summer long. Sundays, too? Yes! There are some early closings in June, due to swim team events and those are listed online.
One last note - this year we will be selling $30 pre-paid punch cards for Friday night cookouts. Please bring cash or a check if you would like to purchase one.

New Tennis Courts/Gate Combo and 2009 Hours
Hello,
We just wanted to let you know the courts are ready for play! You can see the before and after pictures online at:

The new combination lock is XXXX. The courts are for members only; please do not share the code with anyone else.
And as a friendly reminder: the courts are also for tennis ONLY; no dogs, bikes, scooters, skates, skateboards, etc are allowed. And NO unsupervised children.

In other exciting news, we have finalized the 2009 hours.
10:30am to 8pm. And 10pm on Fridays!
EVERYDAY, ALL SUMMER LONG!
* with a few early closings in June for swim team events.
And 3pm to 8pm once school starts through Labor Day Weekend.

Work Day, Poker Night, Spring Fling, Braves
Greetings!
We hope everyone is enjoying the Spring weather...Summer is almost here! But before it comes, we already have lots planned!
We are having a work day this Saturday (21st) from 9 - 12. And this year we are paying up to $25 per membership for participating (in lieu of the early bird discount). So bring your work gloves and tools and we'll see you Saturday morning!
Poker night is back! March 28th - Texas Hold Em' at the clubhouse. $20 per person to play; drinks (including beer) and light snacks will be served; cash prizes! Lessons (and socializing) start at 6pm, game starts at 7pm till ??? AND we'll have a large screen projector showing March Madness! Open to all HH residents and friends. RSVP to villyb@comcast.net by March 25th.
Get ready for our 1st Annual Spring Fling - May 2nd! Low country boil, cold beer, corn hole tournaments and more! Members only; Adults only, too! $15 per membership. RSVP here.
We are going to the Braves on May 16th. Neighborhoods Unite at Turner Field; discounted tickets and we can all sit together! Click here for details and to reserve your tickets.
Once summer arrives, we hope you plan to join us for another great season at the pool! Dues are due by May 15th ($50 late fee this year). All the details and online payment are on our website: www.hhstc.com.

Spring Update Email
We may have just seen snow, but it’s not too early to get excited about the pool opening – summer is right around the corner! The Club is stronger and more active than ever before and this year is going to be amazing. Best bargain in town!
You won't want to miss all the Spring activities, so save the dates:
Sat, March 21st - Work Day (this year we are paying members $25 to attend a work day!)
Sun, March 29th - Hammerhead Swim Team Sign-up/Suit fitting - Important, & we need as many kids as possible!
Sat, March 28th - Poker night is back! And perhaps March Madness at the Clubhouse. Details to come.
Thurs April 2nd - Spirit night at Chik Fil-A. Skip the cooking & help our swim team raise money.
Sat, April 25th - Work Day
Sat, May 2nd - Spring Fling (low-country boil, corn hole tournaments, and other exciting surprises!)

Mon, May 11th - 1st Hammerhead Swim Team practice

* We are resurfacing and painting the tennis courts this Spring – they will look and play great!
* Our volunteers did an AMAZING job clearing out the mess by the tennis courts at the last workday. The area has now been properly graded and seeded – what a difference!
* 2009 membership info is now online. Dues remained the same (but the late fee is back). In lieu of early bird discount, we are paying $25 for participating in a workday. We also added a new category for Singles.
