July 4th Parade Details

Don't miss our 6th Annual Huntley Hills July 4th Parade! 



Decorate your bikes, trikes, wagons, big wheels, strollers, dogs, etc and show your American pride! Prizes given for the best decorations and popsicles for all.


Meet at the pool at 9:45 am for staging. Parade starts at 10 am. We'll march down Plantation, to Montford, Greenhill, Stark, Ensign and then back to the pool.

Ladies Night Out - Friday, June 29th

Ladies of Huntley Hills Swim and Tennis Club – get ready for a night out!! Come meet new friends and neighbors Friday, June 29th at 6:30 pm. We’ll meet at the pool and then head to Mad Italian <http://www.maditalian.com/>  (one of our sponsors <http://www.hhstc.com/Sponsorship.html> ) for dinner. Then the fun really starts!

The Managing Director, Emily Reily Russell <http://wholeworldtheatre.com/wwit/tabid/95/Default.aspx> , is one of our club members AND she performs comedy at the theatre. DIP-OFF Party - Sat, June 30th

If you missed the DIP-OFF party last year, don't worry - we are doing it again!!

Join us for the 2nd Annual DIP-OFF on Saturday, June 30th.

Everyone has a chance of winning! Here are the prize categories:

One of our fabulous sponsors, The Treasure Mart <http://thetmart.com/> , is giving us deep discounts on the prizes – yes, we’ll have real prizes!!

The pool closes at 6 pm, so we can get everything ready. The party starts at 7 pm and judging starts at 7:30 pm. If your dip requires warming, we have 1 microwave, 1 toaster oven and outlets for crock pots.

The club will provide tortilla chips and pita bread triangles. If your dip is just not happy with that and you want it to have something fancier - feel free to bring whatever dipper you desire. The club will also provide soft drinks and water. Please bring your own adult beverages (but please, no glass on the pool deck).

The party is open to all adults - invite all your friends! But only members can enter the contest (membership has its benefits :)

Friday Cookouts and Grills, Swim Meet Photos

Hi Members,

We hope you love the Friday cookouts as much as we do! Last summer we were able to continue them through all of June and July. But we can't do it without volunteers. Our Board members do all the shopping and we always try to have a Board member present, who sets things up, knows what to do, brings the money box, etc.

So your job is super easy - you just have to show up, grill some burgers and/or help collect money. It takes less than 2 hours and we give you 3 hours of volunteer credit for your $25 workday assessment reimbursement.

And guess what we just bought?!? Another grill! This one is super big and awesome (two tanks!) and we needed it for the cookouts and swim meets. We plan to keep it locked up in the concessions stand when we are not using it for official events. Here's why...

We love our members using the grills (that's why we have them) but we are consistently finding that when we try to use them on Fridays they are filthy dirty and out of gas - in less than a week. They also seem to break often, in various ways. It's very discouraging, especially when we are depending on them. These are your grills - your membership money paid for them. Please treat them as your own - clean them, cover them and turn off the gas when you are done using them. Thanks!
