To:  All 2011/2012 members of Huntley Hills Swim & Tennis Club

We are looking forward to another exciting year at the club! Per our club By-Laws, we had our annual meeting on the last Sunday of February in order to vote in the new class of board members.  In case you do not know, our board is comprised of two classes. Each class serves a two-year term and is installed in an odd-even manner. This structure prevents the entire board from rolling off at the same time and promotes continuity in the leadership of your club. Per the By-Laws, the Board has a minimum of seven members and no maximum number.  Many members also have continued with multiple terms, which helps with our continuity.  This year we are losing 4 board members – John Farrell, Larry Pope, Ann Hickman and Cindy Deminsky. Many thanks to them for all their years of service and hard work!

It has been our privilege to work with these 4 board members, and the other volunteers whom contribute their time and resources to make this club great!  We have accomplished many things, and hope all of our efforts are not only appreciated but serve as an example for further volunteer participation.

I want to introduce you to our newest nominees for the class of 2012. If elected, they will begin serving a two-year term immediately. We did not have enough members at the Annual Meeting to have a quorum, so please vote online: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/VSBPZ76.

Sarah Huitt
Sarah is originally from North Carolina but has lived in Atlanta for the past thirteen years after attending Oglethorpe University. Sarah is Manager, Business Operations at the Marcus Autism Center. While at home with her husband Kevin, daughter Emma and dog Cooper, Sarah enjoys home renovations and gardening.

Glen Pellettieri          
Originally from Chicago, Glen has lived lived in Atlanta for over 25 years.  His interests include cars and sports.  He plays softball and has recently starting playing tennis.  He can be seen playing on the courts right here at HHSTC!  He and his wife, Allison, have lived in HH since 1999 and have 2 children ages 8 and 5.  They have been members of the Huntley Hills Swim and Tennis Club for 2 years.
